The FUNKE Media Group is one of the largest media companies in Germany - with well-known titles such as the Berliner Morgenpost, the Hamburger Abendblatt and the WAZ. For the 2025 federal elections, nussknagger GmbH supported the FUNKE editorial teams in the development of web-based interactive data visualisations - including interactive maps, dynamic bar charts and comprehensive data dashboards. The particular challenge lay in the combination of live data connection, high-performance visualisation of large amounts of data and a responsive, intuitive user experience - with simultaneous peak loads of up to 5 million daily sessions.
